REQUIREMENTS:

1/ Full install of Grand Prix Legends (GPL) on your PC updated to version 1.2.0.2

2/ Carsound patch applied to your GPL install (to create the seven different team sounds)

3/ GEM+ 2.5.9 (required)

GEM+ will create the mod physics from your original installed gpl exe and must be used with this mod.



INTRO:

Thunder Cars mod for GPL is an open wheeled series with early 70's feel.
All cars use a 426cu V8, slick tyres and wings.

This is not a representation of F1, we see the mod as a fictional early "CART" type series
as these cars work well at ovals and at the wider and longer road tracks. 

Compared to gpl67 you have a BIG HEAVY car here
so the tracks will suddenly seem allot narrower and shorter,
but the physics will allow you to combat this (with some practice).

Offline you have an all star line up in their winning liveries to compete against.
Online the fun really begins, you will enjoy the close racing the Thunder Cars physics allows.
Your online car will be selected from one of the many fantastic liveries (over 50) included in the carset.
Each time you race online for some time you will see cars you have never seen before as there are so many,
every race full of colour and action.

Have fun!

Known Bugs: at some tracks (mostly with short straights) the AI will not be as fast on the straights as the player car.

NEW UPDATE PART 2B:

Updates TC mod with new features discovered by Nigel Pattinson.
More tracks (1024), all tracks in best laps screen.
Mod specific files: graphics, track.ini, program covers, lps. and world championship (gTC.ini supplied with papy std tracks. You can change this to your prefered track selection).
